PERSONALITY. Due to the short term nature of her release, her grasp of human nature is still in flux. She tends to be more shy and reserved, but on occasion with try to be more bold and brash to test out. It is quite the paper tiger mentality and does not withstand much push back. BACKGROUND. The one known as Kaina came into being as excess aether skimmed off of the auspice Tamamo-no-Mae, or Tamamo Gozen. Each time Tamamo broke from her confines and went on a rampage, this aether was siphoned off before forming its own entity. As Kinko and Ginko and the Warrior of Light would quell Tamamo's rage, that aether would pass back and forth between Tamamo and Kaina. This caused her to only exist during times that Tamamo Gozen was rampaging, leading to various rumors of the 'ghost foxes' lingering around the Glittering Basin.After enough time and ambient aether accumulated, Kaina was able to keep her form even in the windows when Tamamo wasn't awake. During one such trek, she came across a Warrior of Light, fresh off their most recent attempt as calming down Tamamo. They spoke and after coming to terms that Kaina's existence would only last until Mikuzume, the actual physical body of Tamamo, was able to control herself, the Warrior of Light offered to take Kaina with her. This would allow the fox the chance to explore the world and have her own life instead of just dreading the end.So Kaina, taking the Warrior of Light's last name to pass as a distant relative, departed from Yanxia for parts unknown, and spends her time creating every sort of life experience she can think while she still has it.
